Hamas Unmasked: Global Jihad, Not ‘Resistance’ – The Threat the West Refuses to Name

By Hotspotnews

In a chilling video shared on X, Hamas commanders have dropped the mask. These are not freedom fighters battling for a disputed patch of land in Gaza. They are ideological warriors in a worldwide crusade to impose Islam by the sword, targeting Jews, Christians, and all non-believers until every knee bends or every head rolls.

The footage shows two masked terrorists, rifles at the ready, openly declaring their ambitions. “We are not just fighting for Palestine,” the subtitles convey in stark terms. Their mission is to hunt Jews “wherever they are” across the globe and summon Christians to convert to what they call “the only religion of compassion”—Islam—or face the consequences. This is not some fringe rant from a lone radical. It is the voice of Hamas leadership, the same group lavished with sympathy, funding, and political cover from segments of the international left.

For years, apologists in academia, newsrooms, and European capitals have peddled the fiction that Hamas is a localized “resistance” movement, born from poverty and occupation, with grievances that could be solved through diplomacy, ceasefires, or another round of concessions. October 7, 2023, should have shattered that delusion forever. The deliberate massacre of civilians, the rapes, the burning of families alive, and the taking of hostages were not aberrations—they were the opening salvo in a broader holy war. Now these commanders are confirming it in their own words: the fight does not end at the borders of Israel. It ends with submission or death for infidels everywhere.

This aligns perfectly with the foundational charter of Hamas, which draws from the Muslim Brotherhood and echoes centuries of jihadist doctrine. It is not about “two states living side by side.” It is about Dar al-Islam versus Dar al-Harb—the House of Islam against the House of War. Jews are to be pursued to the ends of the earth. Christians, whose faith built the free societies now under siege, are given the false choice of conversion under duress. Secular liberals who think they can remain neutral will discover too late that radical Islam makes no such distinctions.

The implications for the United States and the West are dire. We have already seen the spillover: pro-Hamas encampments on American campuses chanting for “global intifada,” the harassment of Jewish students, and growing violence against churches and synagogues. Open borders and unchecked migration from conflict zones have imported these ideologies into our cities. Meanwhile, weak-kneed administrations and international bodies pour billions into Gaza under the guise of humanitarian aid, much of which Hamas diverts to tunnels, rockets, and propaganda.

Conservatives have long warned that radical Islam is a civilizational threat, not a manageable social issue. History proves the point—from the Barbary Pirates to 9/11 to the rise of ISIS, the pattern is consistent. Appeasement invites more aggression. Strength and moral clarity deter it. Israel understands this in its bones as it fights for survival against Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and their proxies. The Jewish state is not just defending itself; it is holding the line for Judeo-Christian civilization.

Yet too many in the West remain willfully blind. Progressive elites obsess over “Islamophobia” while ignoring the explicit supremacism preached by groups like Hamas. They equate defensive military action with “genocide” but stay silent on the theological mandate for conquest. This is not compassion—it is suicide.

The message from these Hamas commanders is unambiguous: they will not stop. They view the world in black-and-white terms of believer and infidel. The only effective response is equally clear. The United States must stand unequivocally with Israel, cut off all funding pipelines to terror groups and their enablers, secure our borders, and reject the multicultural fantasy that all ideologies are equal. Radical Islam is incompatible with liberty, equality under law, and religious freedom.

We ignore this video at our peril. Hamas has told us who they are and what they intend. The question is whether the West still has the courage to believe them—and to act accordingly before the global jihad reaches our doorsteps in force.
