The Extravagant  Lula: Creating hunger instead of solving it!

By Hotspotnews

In a nation already burdened by crushing taxes and stagnant growth, Brazilians are witnessing yet another glaring example of socialist fiscal irresponsibility. While hardworking families struggle to put food on the table and keep the lights on, the current administration has turned the public treasury into a personal ATM for unchecked luxury and waste. And his biggest lie finally shows! He is not solving hunger, he is creating it!

Recent revelations expose a staggering reality: over R$ 1.4 billion has been funneled through federal corporate cards since the return of the current president—equivalent to roughly R$ 52,000 burned every single hour, day and night. This isn’t prudent governance; it’s outright plunder. Payments flow freely to food delivery apps like iFood for endless feasts, hardware stores for unexplained construction materials, and a host of other questionable vendors. Meanwhile, the vast majority of these transactions remain hidden under layers of secrecy, shielded from proper scrutiny by the very institutions meant to protect taxpayer money.

Contrast this shameful excess with the disciplined stewardship of the previous administration. Under former President Jair Bolsonaro, corporate card spending across his entire four-year term barely exceeded R$ 27 million—orders of magnitude less, even without adjusting for inflation. That era prioritized fiscal restraint, respect for the public purse, and actual results over ostentatious displays of power. One leader treated taxpayer reais as sacred trust; the other treats them as confetti to be tossed at whim.

And when the bill inevitably comes due? The solution is always the same tired playbook: punish the productive class. New import tariffs slapped on more than a thousand everyday products—including smartphones and electronics—will drive up costs for ordinary citizens by as much as 35%. The government spends billions on its own comfort, then forces the middle class and the poor to foot the bill through higher prices and heavier taxation. This is not economic policy; it’s class warfare disguised as governance.

The pattern is unmistakable. Lavish hotel stays for entourages, millions funneled to cultural cronies, endless international junkets—all paid for by Brazilians who can barely afford basics. The elite feast while the nation starves under inflation, bureaucracy, and now this documented orgy of public credit card abuse. Is this the profile of a man who spends in secrecy with the people’s money?

Enough is enough. True conservatives demand accountability, transparency, and leaders who serve rather than exploit. The Brazilian people deserve better than a government that celebrates waste while preaching “equity.” It’s time to reject this corrupt, spendthrift model and return to the principles of fiscal responsibility, limited government, and genuine respect for those who actually generate the nation’s wealth.

The abuse must end—before there’s nothing left to loot. 🇧🇷
