Five doctors from UCF Health Faculty Physician Practice have been recognized in the 2024 edition of Orlando Magazine’s Best Doctors. These awards are determined by Consumer’s Checkbook, a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C., and DataJoe Research, a company that specializes in collecting and verifying data. UCF Health Faculty Physician Practice is associated with the UCF College of Medicine and has locations in East Orlando and Lake Nona’s Medical City. They offer a variety of primary and specialty care services. In addition to treating patients, the doctors at UCF Health also teach medical students, residents, and fellows at the College of Medicine and conduct research. The honored physicians and their areas of expertise are as follows: Abdo Asmar (Nephrology), Shazia Bég (Rheumatology), Neha Bhanusali (Rheumatology), Mariana Dangiolo (Geriatrics), and Joyce Paulson (Internal Medicine).
