Fan raped, drugged drinks and thefts: the chaos of Anitta’s show in SP
Fans recorded cases of sexual abuse, drinks with drugs with drugs and cell phone theft at the Anitta’s Rehearsals concert in Ribeirão Preto
Several fans who were present at the Anitta Rehearsal show, which took place on Sunday (1/26), in Ribeirão Preto, in the interior of São Paulo, used social networks, after the event, to report cases such as drinks named “Good Night, Cinderella”, cell phone theft and rape.
What is known
Anitta’s show took place at the Comercial Stadium, which is on Avenida Dr. Plínio de Castro Prado, in the Jardim Paulista neighborhood, in Ribeirão. In addition to the rain, the fans went through several troubles. During the event, a man was raped after being doped. He filed a police report (B.O.) about the case.
A couple from São Carlos, in the interior of São Paulo, reported to Metrópoles that their drink was baptized. They had belongings stolen while they crashed, outside the party.
Caio Pierre, an advertiser from Monte Alto, had his cell phone and wallet stolen during the event. Lost from friends, he had to spend the night on the street, trying to find a way to get home.
According to the advertiser, at least 100 other people had their cell phones stolen at the event. Internet users also used social networks to tell that they lost their devices.
Couple had a tinted drink with drugs at Anitta’s show
A couple from São Carlos, in the interior of São Paulo, rented a van with friends to go to Anitta’s rehearsal in Ribeirão Preto. The two were in the open bar area, separated from the rest of the group during the event. The couple, who preferred not to identify themselves, told Metrópoles that they were drinking until approximately the time the singer arrived on stage, around 8 pm.
One of the young people reported that he no longer remembers anything from this moment, only having memory of when he arrived home, after the show. He said that, at the time of Anitta’s entry on stage, her boyfriend also began to feel disoriented and realized that he had lost his cell phone. The two went to the outpatient clinic, where the doctor even asked if they were using drugs and if they could give serum in the vein of one of the young people.
The boyfriend also realized, at this moment, that he had lost his cell phone. Irritated by the situation, the young man wanted to leave and the two went to the street, at the entrance to the event. The man used his partner’s cell phone to ask for an app car to return to São Carlos, however, the driver did not accept. At this time, the boyfriend also lost consciousness and fainted.
“Because of the state of our clothes and the bruises on our hands, we believe we fell down at the sidewalk and slept until the time the party ended. My boyfriend believes that we lost our belongings at this moment, outside the party,” reported one of the young people.
The couple managed to meet their friends at the meeting point around 1am. The group, at the same time, suspected that the two had been drugged because they were “vomiting a very strong yellow color, while the other people at the party vomited red, the color of the drink”. The day after the event, already at home, the couple had nausea and weakness. In all, they lost a cell phone, a wallet with documents, cards, money, glasses and a portable battery.
Several cell phones stolen at the event
The publicist Caio Pierre, who lives in Monte Alto, about 75 kilometers away from Ribeirão Preto, also went to the place by van. At a certain point in the show, a friend believed that his cell phone had been stolen. The young man then went to take his phone to call his friend. At this moment, he realized that his zipper was open and that both his cell phone and his wallet were not there.
“This hangout was totally horrible for me. It was extremely traumatic, too tense, disappointing […] For me, it was a gigantic negative balance because my wallet, my cell phone, my glasses, my cap and a braided silver chain that was also very expensive were stolen,” said the advertiser.
Without cell phone and documents, Caio lost his friends when it was time to leave. He had no way to talk to the people who were in the van he had rented to go to the show and ended up being left behind, in Ribeirão. The advertiser had to sit, alone, at the door of the Comercial Stadium, where the event took place, waiting for some acquaintance to pass.
At a certain moment, the young man had a panic attack and was rescued by another person who was passing by, who had also been robbed and had lost her friends. The two then walked for 1 hour and 30 minutes from the stadium to the city’s bus station, where they managed to buy bus tickets to return home. The show ended around 1 a.m. and Caio only managed to board at 8 a.m.
“I spent the whole night at the bus station with no money, no card, no cell phone, nothing,” he told Metrópoles.
Caio, who was put in a WhatsApp group with other people who also lost their cell phone at Anitta’s concert, said that the same thing happened to at least 100 people and that about 40 had filled out police reports. The group wants to take collective action against Faro Eventos, which organized the show, because, in addition to everything, they report having been mistreated by security guards.
Asked about the number of theft occurrences during the show, the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) said that it does not carry out this type of survey.
Sexual abuse
The couple from São Carlos was not the only one at the event who believes they had the glass baptized during the event. Metrópoles found out that a young man was with a group of friends and was raped during the event. He was doped at some point in the presentation and doesn’t remember anything. The boy says he woke up the next day, with pain in his anal orifice, and went to the police station to record what happened.
The Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) reported, in a statement, that the case is being investigated by the 8th Police District of Ribeirão Preto. According to the folder, the victim, a 32-year-old man, went to the police station and testified, telling what happened. A request for expert examination was issued at the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) and the steps are still underway to identify those involved and clarify the facts. Other details will be preserved due to the nature of the occurrence.
Criticism of the company that organized the event
Both the couple who had the glass baptized and the publicist who had his cell phone stolen criticized the organization of the event, carried out by Faro Eventos. “We know that the people of Rehearsals and Anitta’s team have nothing to do with the situation, but Faro Eventos is caring zero about the situation,” Caio lamented.
The young man also said that the organization of the magazine at the entrance of the show was terrible. According to him, the security guards barely looked at the people and bags. The couple from São Carlos noticed that there were very few security guards on site. “Unpreparedness, carelessness, lack of structure and organization on the part of the production of the event, the Faro company,” they vented.
The couple also regrets Faro’s negligence and lack of transparency about the recovery of objects lost during the show.
Metrópoles sought the company for a position on what happened, but did not get a response until the closing of this report. The space is still open. The report also sought the advice of singer Anitta, but did not get a response. The space is open for demonstration.
