Star player Neymar is on the verge of making his return to the field with the Brazil national team. The newcomer to Santos has been included in an extended list of 52 players whom the head coach is considering for the upcoming matches.

Details: The Brazilian Football Federation announced a preliminary list of players called up for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Colombia (March 21) and Argentina (March 26).

Neymar has a chance to play for the national team for the first time since October 2023, when he suffered a serious meniscus injury in a match against Uruguay.

Reminder: Neymar’s stint at Al-Hilal was marred by injuries, and this winter the player returned to his home club Santos. He has already managed to score several goals, including a stunning goal directly from a corner kick.
