The Brazilian government has to understand two major things. These companies are American, designed to perform in the USA where there is freedom of speech! The Supreme Court must understand and become informed of American law and lifestyle. These changes were due to happen and come after President Trump was reelected. The President is a conservative, Meta has curbed way too much in the past and needed to change. Due to the number of Conservatives in the USA, pressuring for change, it was time to stop censoring.
We are sure that Brazil is overreacting because they can’t accept freedom of speech. They have a gestapo under the actual government control and of course, paralyzed by fear of the people’s opinion. What will be will be! We are sure that these companies will comply with Brazilian Laws, but their main principle is American and as such need to remain
