JUSTICE MORAES DROPS THE HAMMER OF TYRANNY

BANS ALL PROTESTS NEAR BOLSONARO’S PRISON CELL – FREEDOM DIES ANOTHER DEATH IN BRAZIL TONIGHT

Outrage doesn’t even begin to describe the sickening spectacle unfolding in Brasília right now.

Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes – the one-man star chamber who has turned “judicial independence” into a synonym for personal vendetta – has just issued a draconian decree that is as predictable as it is revolting: total prohibition of any protest, demonstration, vigil, prayer gathering, flag-waving, or even peaceful standing within sight of the Papudinha prison wing where President Jair Bolsonaro is being held captive.

Yes, captive. Not “detained pending trial.” Not “serving sentence.” **Held hostage by a judiciary that long ago stopped pretending to be neutral.**

Moraes’ reasoning? Pure theater-of-the-absurd fearmongering: these grandmothers, veterans, evangelical families and working-class patriots who want to stand outside a jail and sing hymns or hold up signs saying “Free Bolsonaro” are somehow a replay of January 8, 2023. Never mind that not a single one of them has thrown a rock, broken a window or stormed anything. The mere act of **existing in public space while supporting the wrong politician** is now classified as an existential threat to “prison security” and “democratic institutions.”

This isn’t law. This is revenge porn for the establishment

Imagine the scene: a line of military police – at the personal direction of one unelected minister – moving in to rip Brazilian flags out of elderly hands, drag praying women off public sidewalks, cuff anyone who dares say “liberdade” too loudly. All because Alexandre de Moraes decided that the sight of popular support for Bolsonaro might “destabilize” the very regime that locked him up without letting voters decide his fate.

Where was this iron-fisted protection of institutions when:

    – MST land invaders camped for months turning private property into war zones?
    – Pro-government mobs blocked major highways for days after the 2022 election?
    – Left-wing encampments screamed for the heads of political opponents with zero consequence?

Nowhere. Because those were the “correct” kinds of protests in the eyes of the toga-wearing aristocracy currently strangling Brazil.

This ban is not about security.
It is about erasing Bolsonaro from the public square entirely – even visually, even symbolically.
It is about making sure no camera can ever again capture tens of thousands (or even hundreds) of ordinary citizens refusing to accept the narrative that their former president is a criminal mastermind who deserves to rot while the real corrupt elite walk free.

Every frame of a Bolsonaro supporter outside that prison is a living rebuttal to the official story. Moraes cannot allow that image to exist. So he simply **outlaws the image**.

    Disgust doesn’t cover it.
    Revulsion isn’t strong enough.
This is the moment many Brazilians will look back on and say: **“That was the day they officially banned hope from standing on the sidewalk.”**

If you still believe in the rule of law rather than rule by one vengeful judge, if you still think peaceful assembly is a right and not a privilege granted by the state, then feel the bile rising in your throat – because that is exactly the correct physiological response to what just happened in Brazil.

    The fight isn’t over.
But tonight it got a lot uglier.
    And a lot more personal.

    disrespect Moraes tyranny
