Lula’s Hypocritical Veto: Forgetting His Own Dirty Past While Punishing Patriots!

    By Hotspotnews

Oh, the nerve of President Lula! On the third anniversary of the so-called “January 8 coup attempt,” he vetoes a simple bill that would fix sentencing rules – what they call “dosimetria” in Brazil. This bill could cut penalties by up to two-thirds for folks convicted in those 2023 protests. But no, Lula says we “can’t forget the past.” What a joke! He wants us to remember every detail of that day, but conveniently forgets his own corrupt history?

Let’s be real here. Lula spent time in jail for massive corruption scandals back in 2018. Operation Lava Jato nailed him for taking bribes and washing money through fancy apartments and deals with big companies. He was convicted fair and square – until his buddies in the Supreme Court flipped the script on technicalities. Bias in the judge? Wrong court? Give me a break! That wasn’t justice; that was a left-wing bailout so he could steal the 2022 election from honest leader Jair Bolsonaro.

Now, Lula struts around like a hero of democracy, vetoing this bill during some big event to “defend” Brazil from its own people. Those January 8 protesters? They were everyday Brazilians fed up with rigged systems, not terrorists. Over 1,400 convictions already, including possible long sentences for Bolsonaro himself. And Lula wants to keep them locked up forever? This veto isn’t about law – it’s revenge! Pure and simple. He hates anyone who stands against his socialist agenda.

Congress passed this bill with good reason. It came from both houses, backed by centrists and conservatives who see the truth: these sentences are too harsh, twisted by activist judges like Alexandre de Moraes. But Lula slaps it down, saying we must remember the “attacks.” Fine, Mr. President – then why don’t we remember YOUR attacks on Brazil’s economy? Your Workers’ Party wrecked jobs, fueled inflation, and lined pockets while the poor suffered.

This hypocrisy boils my blood! Lula got a free pass on his crimes, but God forbid we show mercy to patriots who waved flags and chanted for freedom. He’s turning Brazil into a one-party state, where leftists walk free and conservatives rot in cells. Congress, wake up! Override this veto now. We need leaders like Arthur Lira and Rodrigo Pacheco to rally the votes in February. Don’t let Lula’s selective memory destroy our nation.

Brazilians deserve better than this two-faced tyrant. Time to fight back – for real justice, not Lula’s version!
