Orlando Magic Announce Youth Basketball Scholarships Program
Orlando Magic Host 2025 Summer Camps for Youth in Orlando & Tampa presented by AdventHealth; Registration Now Open

Orlando, Fla. (June 9, 2025) – The Orlando Magic summer youth basketball camps are now open and will award 25 scholarships to underserved youth to attend a weeklong Orlando Magic Youth basketball program. Scholarships will be provided to deserving youth, enabling them to enhance their basketball skills and sportsmanship. These scholarships will be given to residents of greater Orlando or Tampa, ages 7-17, in need of financial assistance and who receive free or reduced lunch. Each scholarship recipient will be responsible for their own transportation to and from camp each day. Applications will be accepted online on OrlandoMagic.com/Scholarships.
The Orlando Magic will host over 40 basketball camp sessions, designed for boys and girls ages 7-17 of all skill levels, across Central Florida this summer along with one overnight camp and a special needs youth clinic. The Magic have partnered with AdventHealth, Planet Fitness, Gatorade, Teruya Law and Uncle Matt’s Organic to bring these camps to the community. Registration for camps is officially open, and limited space is still available for all sessions. Camps began last week on Monday, June 2 at Greenwood Lakes Middle School in Orlando, Fla. and the New Port Richey Recreation Center in New Port Richey, Fla.
For more advanced camp participants, there will be Elite Level Training camps offered at Edgewater High School in Orlando, Fla. and Patel High School in Tampa, Fla. (June 30-July 3). These elite camps are designed for basketball players who currently have a broad knowledge of the fundamentals and are looking to build on their reading of the court and decision making.
In addition to the traditional day camps, the Magic are hosting one overnight camp at Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Fla. (July 21-July 25), which includes all meals and housing. This overnight camp is designed for higher skilled basketball players and is recommended for youth ages 13 and older. It draws in participants from several countries around the world and was represented by 20 countries since 2012.
The Orlando Magic and Bounce Out The Stigma ® also held the Magic of Inclusion Youth Basketball Clinic, a special needs youth basketball clinic, for children at South Econ Recreation Center on May 30 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Bounce Out The Stigma ®, the 2019 Jr. NBA Program of the Year, serves children and young adults with neurological and functional disorders, such as Autism, Epilepsy, ADD, ADHD, Asperger syndrome and Down syndrome.
