Trump Strengthens Ties with Saudi Arabia in Bold Move for American Interests

    By Hotspotnews, November 18, 2025- Orlando FL-USA

Washington, D.C. – President Donald Trump has officially designated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a Major Non-NATO Ally of the United States, a powerful step that cements one of America’s most important partnerships in the Middle East.

The announcement came during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to the White House, exactly 80 years after President Franklin Roosevelt first met with Saudi King Abdulaziz aboard a U.S. Navy ship in 1945. That historic meeting laid the foundation for decades of cooperation on energy, security, and stability. Today, President Trump is building on that legacy with action.

What does the new status mean? In simple terms, it makes it faster and easier for the U.S. to sell advanced weapons to Saudi Arabia and work together on joint defense projects. It also sends a clear message to Iran and other troublemakers in the region: America stands firmly with its allies.

Even better news for American workers and investors: Saudi Arabia has pledged to boost its investments in the United States from $600 billion to a whopping $1 trillion over the next few years. That’s real money flowing into American companies, American jobs, and American communities.

Critics on the left have spent years attacking the U.S.–Saudi relationship, often focusing on old disagreements or human-rights lectures. President Trump, as always, puts America First. He understands that Saudi Arabia is a key partner in fighting terrorism, keeping oil flowing smoothly, and pushing back against Iran’s dangerous ambitions.

This designation isn’t about looking the other way; it’s about facing reality. In a tough neighborhood, the United States needs strong, reliable friends. Saudi Arabia has proven time and again that it is willing to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with America when it matters most.

From energy security to counter-terrorism to massive new investments back home, President Trump’s decision is a win for the American people and a win for peace through strength.

Thank you, Mr. President, for putting American interests first once again.
