The SAME minister whose family connections, resort deals, and shadowy ties to arrested banker Daniel Vorcaro turned the whole Operation Compliance Zero into a national embarrassment.
And now? This same man gets to decide whether Congress can even INSTALL the CPI that would expose the multibillion-dollar fraud that looted public pension funds, destroyed lives, and tried to swallow Banco de Brasília whole.
No shame.
No justice.
Just the fox, freshly kicked out of the henhouse for biting the chickens, being handed the keys again with a straight face and a “it was random, folks!” shrug.
The mandado de segurança filed by Deputy Rodrigo Rollemberg (PSB-DF) was supposed to be the last desperate scream to force the Chamber to do its job. Signatures? Check. Public outrage? Sky-high. Victims? Thousands of retirees still waiting for answers while their money vanished into Vorcaro’s empire.
But instead of justice, we get this grotesque theater. Toffoli can still “declare himself impeded” — sure, after the damage is done and the headlines fade. We’ve seen this movie before. The draw happens, the outrage explodes, the minister steps aside with zero consequences, and the CPI dies quietly in the dark.
Meanwhile, another Senate CPI targeting Toffoli and Moraes over the exact same Vorcaro connections just hit the magic number of signatures. Coincidence? Of course it is. Everything in this republic of coincidences is.
This isn’t a court. This isn’t justice. This is a protection racket wearing robes and calling itself the guardian of the Constitution.
Every Brazilian who lost savings, every pensioner screwed by INSS schemes, every citizen sick of the circus — feel the slap across your face today. They don’t even pretend anymore. They don’t respect you. They don’t fear you. They laugh while they loot.
