The Left’s War on Worship: Don Lemon and Radicals Church invasion

    By Hotspotnews

In what can only be described as a brazen assault on religious liberty, a mob of anti-ICE agitators—egged on and livestreamed by disgraced former CNN host Don Lemon—stormed into Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, during a peaceful Sunday morning worship service. This wasn’t a peaceful demonstration. It was an invasion: chanting “ICE OUT!” and “Hands up, don’t shoot!” while terrorizing families, interrupting prayer, and driving terrified children and congregants from their sanctuary.

The target? Pastor David Easterwood (or Eastwood, as some reports vary), whom the protesters falsely or exaggeratedly accused of moonlighting as the acting field office director for ICE in the region. Whether the claim holds water or not is beside the point—the real outrage is that these radicals believe they have the right to desecrate a house of God simply because they disagree with federal immigration enforcement. They turned a sacred space into a battleground, holding worshippers “hostage” with their noise and intimidation until many fled in fear.

And leading the charge? Don Lemon, the ousted CNN anchor now desperately clinging to relevance on YouTube. Far from being an innocent bystander or objective journalist, Lemon embedded himself with the group, livestreaming the chaos, interviewing the ringleaders (including activist Nekima Levy Armstrong, who bragged about the “mission” and thanked him by name), and even defending the disruption afterward. He dismissed the terrified families by claiming protests are supposed to make people “uncomfortable” and that “people need to feel terrified.” Terrified—in church. Over immigration policy.

This isn’t activism; it’s domestic terrorism dressed up as social justice. The First Amendment protects speech and assembly, but it does not grant a free pass to trespass, harass, or intimidate people in their places of worship. Federal law—the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and related statutes under 18 U.S.C. § 247—explicitly prohibits exactly this kind of interference with religious exercise through force, threats, or obstruction. Yet Lemon and his comrades treated the sanctuary like a stage for their radical theater, harassing the pastor, antagonizing congregants, and filming it all for clicks.

The hypocrisy is staggering. These are the same voices who scream about “insurrection” when conservatives peacefully assemble, yet they cheer when left-wing mobs barge into churches to silence Christians who support law and order. They demand “safe spaces” on college campuses while making actual sacred spaces unsafe for Bible-believing Americans. And when children run crying from the building? Lemon calls it progress.

Thankfully, the Trump administration isn’t playing games. The Department of Justice, under strong conservative leadership, has launched a full investigation into this despicable incident. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made it crystal clear: President Trump will not tolerate the intimidation and harassment of Christians in their sacred places of worship. Attorney General Pam Bondi has already spoken directly with the pastor, vowing that attacks on law enforcement and religious freedom will face the full force of federal law.

This episode exposes the ugly truth about the modern left: they hate borders, they hate law enforcement, and increasingly, they hate Christianity itself when it doesn’t bow to their woke agenda. They claim to fight for the marginalized while terrorizing the faithful. They preach tolerance while practicing tyranny in God’s house.

Americans must wake up. If storming churches becomes normalized, what’s next—your home? Your business? Your school? The rule of law must prevail. Arrests should follow. Prosecutions must be swift. And every patriot who values religious liberty should demand accountability for Don Lemon and his co-conspirators.

The war on worship has begun. It’s time for conservatives to fight back—unapologetically, relentlessly, and in defense of the faith that built this nation. Because if they can come for the church on Sunday morning, they can come for anyone, anywhere. Not on our watch. 🇺🇸✝️
