Brazil: Is this a priority? What a shame!

During the first ministerial meeting of 2025, held on Monday,  President Lula da Silva defined his administration’s main objective is to prevent Jair Bolsonaro’s return as the President. Lula stressed that, while the government works to strengthen democracy and face economic and social challenges, the opponents have already started the 2026 electoral race. But he forgets that President Bolsonaro is not a convicted felon, he respects tax payers money, he doesn’t protect criminals and had a perfect Administration.

Unfortunately, nothing that the Lula Administration does is for the good of the country, it is motivated by vengeance, greed or irresponsibility.

“What I want to tell you is that 2026 has already begun. Not for us, because we have to work… but, for the opponents, next year’s election has already begun,” said the president, demanding commitment from his ministerial team.

Lula criticized his predecessor and reinforced that his main objective for 2025 will be to prevent Brazil from returning to what he classified as the “horrors” by the previous government. “I have a cause. And it is this cause that will motivate me: not to allow, under any circumstances, this country to return to the horror that was the mandate of our predecessor.”

The president also defended the need to consolidate the democratic process, stressing that his government is committed to ensuring the continuity of institutions. “We want to elect a government to continue the democratic process in this country. We don’t want to give this country back to neofascism, neo-Nazism and authoritarianism.”

For Lula, Law and Order are wrong. His democratic ideal is anarchy. Hunger, inflation, crime at alarming levels. The people exist to pay taxes and never complain. That is why Bolsonaro is  nicknamed MYTH, and Lula referred as the thief. Everybody knows that.

Lula took advantage of the meeting to recall the acts of January 8 to the public buildings in Brasilia and warned about the risks that the episode represented to democracy. “We all know what January 8 was in our heads and what could have happened in this country if January 8 had worked out. Everyone here knows that we need to make this country democratic again.”

With the presidential election already in the horizon, Lula asked for dedication and efficiency from his ministers to avoid political wear and tear and ensure results that favor the continuity of his government .

“When we work, we harvest. And that’s what we need to do so that people see that there is a solid path being built,” the president concluded.
