This is no mere legal proceeding—it’s a calculated assault on freedom, democracy, and the will of millions who supported Bolsonaro’s vision for a strong, sovereign Brazil.
The Supreme Court, led by the iron-fisted Justice Alexandre de Moraes, claims Bolsonaro is a “flight risk” in a trial accusing him of plotting a coup after the 2022 election loss to leftist Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. A coup? The charge is as absurd as it is sinister. The Brazilian left, emboldened by Lula’s narrow victory, is terrified of Bolsonaro’s enduring popularity. His base, millions strong, sees through this charade.
