It is with deep sorrow and immense sadness we announce the passing of Robert Dennis Scarpelli, who peacefully departed on December 21st, 2024, surrounded by love from his spouse Penny, kids Anthony and Kelly Scarpelli, niece Lauren Allen, Brother in Law Mark, and his spouse Teri. Robert Dennis Scarpelli, entered this world on Monday August 10th, 1959. From the start, his purpose was so vast that he was blessed with two mothers. Marilyn Byrne, known as Heyma, brought Robert into the world with immense love, setting him on the path that would lead to his family and purpose, reuniting with her at the right time. Joan Mary Templeton Scarpelli and Anthony Edward Scarpelli welcomed Robert and his adopted siblings, John Scarpelli, Gigi Dattoma, and Maggie Macdonald, in Malverne NY, with selfless love. Memories of summers spent with cousins The Heim family created unforgettable experiences in New York City and Lake George. As Robert grew into adulthood, his reputation as a rebel was evident. Embracing a life of parties and daredevil acts in the 80s, he eventually became a skydiving instructor at Blue Sky Ranch, where he met his love, Penny. Transitioning into a new chapter, Robert moved to Florida with Penny, supporting his father through cancer and leaving his rebellious ways behind. Together, Penny and Rob raised their children, Anthony Robert Scarpelli and Kelly Morgan Scarpelli, instilling in them a sense of adventure and love. Their home was a welcoming place for friends and family, with open doors and endless love. Robert’s legacy of love and humor touched the lives of many, creating lasting memories and inspiring countless individuals. Survived by his wife Penny Allen Scarpelli, mother Marilyn Byrne, children Anthony and Kelly Scarpelli, Heather Toczek, niece Lauren Allen, siblings Gigi Dattoma, Maggie Macdonald, Tami O’Connor, Colleen Shahinian, John Scarpelli, Robert Byrne, and Thomas Byrne, Brother in Law Mark and Terri Allen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren with Heather.
