Tshegofatso Mabasa has shared his happiness after his outstanding performance in Orlando Pirates’ dominant win against Marumo Gallants on Tuesday. The striker displayed his skill, netting a hat-trick as the home team cruised to an 8-1 victory over their rivals.
This hat-trick marks Mabasa’s second of the year, following Bucs’ 7-1 win over Golden Arrows in April. Grateful and joyful, the 28-year-old stressed the significance of the team’s success.
“I am thankful for the outcome, that is what matters the most,” he stated. “Scoring a hat-trick as a forward is truly special. We hope that this triumph will motivate us to perform even better for the rest of the season.
“I want to express my gratitude to my teammates and recognize the efforts of the coaching staff. It is the hard work we put in during training that makes these achievements possible.”
Orlando Pirates will now focus on their upcoming match against Magesi. The Buccaneers are eager to bounce back after their exit from the Netbank Cup by Dikwena tša Meetse earlier this year.
